Microchip to Boost Edge AI with NVIDIA Holoscan

Image
The NVIDIA Holoscan AI sensor processing platform, SDK and development ecosystem has helped to streamline the design and deployment of AI and high-performance computing ( HPC ) applications at the edge for real-time insights. Now, FPGAs are unlocking new edge-to-cloud applications for this advanced AI platform while enabling AI/ML inferencing and facilitating the adoption of AI in the medical, industrial and automotive markets.  Microchip's new PolarFire FPGA Ethernet Sensor Bridge is empowering developers to create innovative, real-time solutions with NVIDIA’s edge AI and robotics platforms that will revolutionize sensor interfaces across a wide range of powerful applications. To enable developers building artificial intelligence (AI)-driven sensor processing systems, Microchip Technology has released its PolarFire FPGA Ethernet Sensor Bridge that works with the NVIDIA Holoscan sensor processing platform.  Accelerating Real-time Edge AI with NVIDIA Holoscan The Pola...

What are ARM Processors ?

Image
What is an Arm processor? An Arm processor is one of a family of central processing units (CPUs) based on the reduced instruction set computer (RISC) architecture for computer processors. Arm Limited, the company behind the Arm processor, designs the core CPU components and licenses the intellectual property to partner organizations, which then build Arm-based chips according to their own requirements. Arm Limited does not manufacture or sell any chips directly. Acorn Computers first developed the Arm processor in the 1980s. Until recently, the name Arm was treated as an acronym, ARM, which at first stood for Acorn RISC Machine and then for Advanced RISC Machine. The acronym is still widely used, although Arm Limited uses only Arm when describing its processor technology. Arm Limited offers designs for both 32-bit and 64-bit RISC multicore processors . The processors use a much simpler instruction set than their Intel counterparts, which are based on the complex instruction set com...

What is Web Hosting? Free Web hosting services

Many people don't know how websites are added to the web and how they are managed or hosted using various means. Today we learn about a topic called Web hosting which answers the above questions. As we have learnt about the Web in previous session that what is WWW, but to access information on the web requires data communication between a web-browser client and a web-server application. Web Hosting is linked to this very thing. Web hosting is a means of hosting   web-server application  on a computer system through which electronic content on the internet is readily available to any web-browser client. The computer system providing the web-hosting is known as Web-server or the Web host. Basically, the web hosts allow their customers to place web documents, such as html pages, graphics, and other multimedia files etc. onto a special type of computer called a web server, which maintains constant, high speed connections to the backbone of Internet. One can from variou...
